Karan (Tusshar Kapoor) and Pooja (Kareena Kapoor) are childhood friends and meet only during holidays when Pooja visits the hill station with her family. The two promise each other to always be together. Soon Pooja stops visiting the hill station. Karan is adopted by a man from the city and hence he shifts there. On the other hand, Pooja's father sends her abroad to his brother's house. Time flies by and the two start searching for each other. The two come across each other many times but are unable to identify each other.
